Road to 67 Initiative

Local investments for local programs

Endowments are gifts that are invested to provide annual support for a program in perpetuity. Through the Road to 67 initiative, we hope to establish at least one endowment for each of Florida's 67 counties. As of August 2019, 25 counties are benefitting from at least one endowment. Donors choose the purpose and name of the endowment; for example, the Jimmy and Benita S. Boyd St. Johns County 4-H Endowment benefits the 4-H Youth Development Program in St. John's County, while the Escambia County Master Gardeners Endowment benefits the Florida Master Gardener Program in Escambia County. The minimum endowment amount is $30K, which will generate approximately $1,200 annually. Gifts can be pledged over five years or can be established through an estate plan. For more information, please contact Katherine Davies at (352) 294-7869 or kedavies@ufl.edu
